who is Codecademy ?

Python (pandas-Python library, Beautiful Soup-Python Library), Java, Go, JavaScript (jQuery, AngularJS, React.js), Ruby (Ruby on Rails-Ruby framework), SQL, C++, C#, Swift, and Sass, as well as markup languages HTML and CSS, are all covered by Codecademy. A paid “Pro” version is also available on the site, which grants users access to tailored study programs, tests, and actual tasks.

History of Codecademy

Zach Sims and Ryan Bubinski established Codecademy in August 2011. Sims dropped out of Columbia University in order to focus on starting a business, whereas Bubinski graduated in 2011. The firm obtained $2.5 million in Series A investment in October 2011 and $10 million in Series B fundraising in June 2012. It is based in New York City. Index Ventures led the most recent round of fundraising.

The site was updated on July 22, 2014, with a new dashboard.
